The Veterans’ Victory House Nursing Home in Waterboro is the only VA Nursing Home in our area and they need our help with material things. The list of requested items is available here at the Post or on our web site.
But most important they need visitors. During this Holiday Season please remember our comrades that are in the Nursing Home and if possible pay them a visit.
The Victory House is located at 2461 Sidney Road, Walterboro, SC, about an hour and fifteen minute dive up the road. Phone number is (843) 538-3000.
For more information about the Victory House Nursing Home and what all the wonderful things that they are doing for our Comrades please contact Tony Dixon here at the Post.

SGLI Premium Rate Changes
The monthly premium for basic Servicemember's Group Life Insurance increased by 5 cents per month for each $10,000 of coverage, from .65 cents per month per $10,000 to .70 cents per month per $10,000, effective July 01. As a result of this increase, members who have the maximum $400,000 of SGLI coverage will see their monthly deduction from service pay increase by $2 a month, from $27 to $29, beginning with their July pay. This monthly SGLI premium includes a $1 per month charge for traumatic injury protection coverage, which took effect Dec. 1 and provides payments of up to $100,000 for serious traumatic injuries.      by- Roger Bond / Post Services Officer
